Different Methods to Trimming Your Trees

Ornamental Tree Crown Thinning 
This is a selective removal of branches to increase light penetration and air movement throughout the crown of the tree. The intent is to maintain or develop a tree’s structure and form.

Crown Reduction 
This is used when a tree has grown too large for its permitted space. This results in a more natural appearance and helps increase the time before pruning is needed again and it minimizes the stress on the tree.

Shrub Pruning 
The purpose of pruning is to establish the basic structure of the shrub and to provide light channels so that the shrub can mature. A well-pruned shrub is easier to maintain and adds aesthetic value to a home but the primary reason to prune is to ensure good access to sunlight.
Lacing 
This particular method of pruning creates openings that admit light and air through the canopy or crown of the tree. Not only does this help the overall health of the tree, but increases the overall aesthetic appeal as well.
